Cleo Taurus (They/Them) and Julie Racine (She/Her) of Racine’s Dreams present Queer Mixer Crochet on Sunday May 10th from 6-9pm at Birdhouse (800 N. 4th Ave). Join us for an evening of learning how to crochet! Julie will teach a beginner friendly crochet lesson. We will contribute to a collaborative project, and there will be time for a second project of your choosing. No experience is required. All materials provided. Feel free to bring your own supplies and finished projects to show off.
This event is open to any queer-identifying folks who are looking to meet other queers. (You do not need to be single or looking for any sort of relationship to attend).

Cleo Taurus (They/Them) and Ari Rakestraw (They/Them) present Queer Mixer Wheat Weaving on Monday May 25th from 6-9pm at Birdhouse (800 N. 4th Ave). Join us for an introduction to the art of wheat weaving! This ancient and pervasive craft shows up in so many cultures around the world. Ari will give a short presentation on the history of the craft, teach us how to prepare straw for use, and then we will spend some time making a few different straw art projects you can take home (or give to a sweetheart!) No experience required. All materials provided.

Sarah and Cleo will teach some basics of go go dancing, and we will work on group improvisation. No experience required. Wear what makes you feel sexy and you can move in.

Join us for an afternoon of floating, swimming, and hanging with fellow queers at the park! Bring your own float, towel, water, snacks, and sunscreen.

Pants off Dance off is currently on hiatus, due to low engagement. (If you want to see it revived, please let us know!)
Pants off Dance off is a queer underwear dance party hosted and DJed by Cleo Taurus. The theme of the dance party changes each time. This space is for all bodies and clothing is optional, we encourage radical self-expression! Consent is absolutely mandatory, and this is a sober event. Anyone who compromises the safety of the space will be removed. 18 and up! No Alcohol. Yes, Glitter! This event occurs Bi-Monthly.
